Founders Club
Group therapy for people building something from nothing.
A small, weekly gathering at ThreeFortyNine. No speakers, no slide decks. Just a tight circle of founders working through real problems together. Honest enough, sometimes, for tears.
The format was simple: Give and Take. The guest spent 30 minutes contributing something to the room -- a discussion, a design exercise, a story from the trenches. Then the room spent 30 minutes working on a real challenge the guest brought with them. The more specific the ask, the more useful the room could be.
Founders in the messy middle. Pre-revenue, post-launch, mid-pivot. The unspoken rule: we know we're making it up most days.
"The discussion in Founders' Club was unlike anything else in town. Many of those connections are still the backbone of my local professional network." — Alan Armstrong, ThreeFortyNine member
Founders' Club ran at ThreeFortyNine from 2011 to April 2020.
